Creating reports 

What is a Report?

A report is a list of records that meet the criteria you define. It’s displayed in I-Vol in rows and columns, and can be filtered, grouped, or displayed in a graphical chart.



Sample Report Build

Let's say you want to create a report of all organisations in your Volunteer Centre that are registered for Garda Vetting.

To do this you will need to create an organisation report and filter for your Volunteer Centre and the Registered for Garda Vetting flag.

How to amend a report

Having created a report, you may wish to amend it in some way;

- Sort on a particular column

- Add or Remove columns

- Summarise or Group the data in the report

How to sort by a column in a report

You can sort the report by any of the columns listed.  You can also sort in reverse order.

How to add or remove columns

Quite often, you might wish to change the columns in the report by adding new ones, deleting some or changing the order of them.
