Nominations are now open for the 2024 Volunteer Ireland Awards! The Volunteer Ireland Awards take place annually and shine a light on the immense contribution volunteers make to communities across Ireland.
We, in South Dublin, recognise the contribution of all the groups and individuals in the county and would encourage you to nominate on their behalf. Anyone can nominate a volunteer.
Why nominate a volunteer for an award? Here are just a few reasons and potential benefits:

Recognising a volunteer’s efforts significantly enhances their motivation. Highlighting their contribution reinforces their dedication to the cause.
⭐ Recognition equals retention
Every volunteer that is nominated will receive a thank you card from Volunteer Ireland. Demonstrating appreciation brings you increased volunteer retention as volunteers feel more valued and connected to the organisation.

When your volunteers are acknowledged it not only elevates their spirits but also underscores the organisation’s successes. Celebrating them is a testament to the collective achievements of the organisation.
All individual awardees (except Volunteer Manager) are eligible for the overall Christine Buckley Volunteer of the Year Award.

Every volunteer that is nominated will receive a thank you card from Volunteer Ireland.
