South Dublin County Volunteer Centre Seeks to Expand Opportunities for Young Volunteers
At South Dublin County Volunteer Centre, we firmly believe that young people are our future and should be given the chance to participate and learn during their formative years. To this end, we are reaching out to explore potential opportunities within your organisation for individuals under the age of 18 to get involved in various roles such as social media management, retail, befriending, and other suitable positions.
We are also keen to understand your current involvement with young people. Do you already engage young volunteers? What roles do they typically take on, and what has your experience been like? Your insights are invaluable in helping us tailor our support and identify best practices.
Additionally, we aim to better understand any barriers you may face when it comes to involving young people in your organisation’s work. Are there specific challenges or concerns that prevent you from engaging with this age group? Our goal is to assist you in overcoming these barriers and facilitating more opportunities for young volunteers.
We are eager to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how the South Dublin County Volunteer Centre can support your efforts in creating impactful opportunities for young individuals.
Please share your insights and experiences by replying to Deirdre at deirdre@volunteersouthdublin.ie or Maryna at maryna@volunteersouthdublin.ie.
Thank you for your attention and collaboration. Together, we can empower the next generation of volunteers and foster a more inclusive community.
