Experience Counts: Thursday 14 May

Hi  Volunteer

As part of Bealtaine Festival 2026, join us for Experience Counts – a special event taking place at Tallaght Library on Thursday, 14 May, at 11 am.

This event is aimed at individuals aged 50 and over who are interested in discovering meaningful and rewarding volunteering opportunities.

The morning will begin with a short presentation from the Volunteer Centre on “Thinking About Volunteering”, encouraging you to consider your interests, motivations, and the kinds of opportunities that might be right for you.

Following this, you’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with Volunteer Centre staff, as well as a small number of invited volunteer organisations, including Tallaght Cancer Support, NSPCA, Irish Wheelchair Association, Radio Maria and Clondalkin Tidy Towns.

This informal and supportive setting will allow you to ask questions, explore opportunities, and find out more about how to get involved.

Your experience counts – so make it matter!

If you, or someone you know, is thinking about volunteering, we’d love for you to come along, meet the team, and find out more.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards,
Colette Gallagher
