National Volunteering Week is always a whirlwind but it is hard to believe it is already Saturday. Today we have another wonderful story of someone starting their volunteer journey and connecting with their local community.

Our sixth story is from Hamid Homrani who is volunteering with Foodcloud in Tallaght

“I have been volunteering in the Foodcloud hub in Tallaght for more than three months now.

Volunteering with Foodcloud gave me a great opportunity to work with a great team, dynamic, enthusiastic and lovely, I feel very welcome since my first day, work there is not only a job or tasks to complete, it’s also another way to contribute to the community .

My mother told me “If you can help, don’t think twice “.

That’s why I will still volunteer with them!
