Today is the third day of National Volunteering Week 2023 and we are delighted to share another volunteer’s story.

Mary Mc Neill will tell us about her experience and how much it means to her.

“I have wanted to volunteer locally and found my position in the Community Cafe in Rowlagh through I-Vol. From the first phone call I received I knew I had made the right decision. It is a flexible role, meaning I can volunteer one or five days during the week. The staff at the centre are all so helpful and friendly. The two other volunteers have been a great support to me. I love meeting our clients through Meals on Wheels. We always have a great catch-up and laugh together. If anyone is thinking of volunteering for anything at all. I would say go for it!”
