Our fourth story for National Volunteering Week is from South Dublin Community Volunteers Covid effort.

South Dublin County Volunteer Centre are happy to announce, the Volunteer Corps has become Community Volunteers – changing in uniform from orange to blue. It is a pilot programme that gives organisations a chance to engage enthusiastic, trained volunteers in local events and in times of more urgent need. Our Community Volunteers are directly managed or co-ordinated by a Volunteer Manager at each event. It also give volunteers an opportunity to get involved in their local community by supporting local events and initiatives.
