SDCVC MEETS THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF GOVERNANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

SDCVC commits to future proofing our work to ensure its quality, transparency, long term appropriateness and sustainability.

We will continue to innovate and operate at the cutting edge of the development of volunteering in Ireland.

Meet SDCVC’s obligations to the Charity Regulator and other relevant oversight bodies, including funders, in a comprehensive and timely way.
Work to the highest standards in a transparent manner, making SDCVC’s values ‘real’
Invest in SDCVC staff and Board taking account of the importance of succession planning.
Continue SDCVC’s commitment to, and engagement with, the development of Quality Standards for the volunteer infrastructure in Ireland
Ensure the financial stability and sustainability of SDCVC
Actively support the development and implementation of relevant public policy including the implementation of relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals

We will know we are making progress on Strategic Objective 4 when we see:

All corporate governance obligations are honoured.
Staff development, satisfaction and professionalism is maintained and enhanced.
Reflective Practice informs all of our work.
Sustainable funding and finance is secured and accounted for.
Maintaining and improving our achievement of the National Volunteer Quality Assurance Framework.
Annual review of progress including progressing the relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals.
